Click and Clack to sign off

Coming across the twitterverse and Car Talk.com:
RAY: …and my brother turning over the birthday odometer to 75, we’ve decided that it’s time to stop and smell the cappuccino.
TOM: So as of October, we’re not going to be recording any more new shows. That’s right, we’re retiring.
So, in the spirit of shameless commerce this blog will sell anything.

This better not mean This American Life expands to two hours. I can't understand Ira Glass, let alone stand him.

Doug Berman was just interviewed on WBUR's Here and Now.

Talking with SDPB in Deadwood reminded me that public radio is a laboratory for learning every day and how important legislative funding is for education.

Diversity is why I love public radio, Cory: just change the channel when the drone fills your ears.

I like Click & Clack, in small doses. I'd rather listen to them than Garrison Keillor. (I have to whisper that quietly her in MN Lutheran-land. Keillor is almost goddish here. I do like his bookstore though.)

Aw heck, I like them all. Ira Glass did a show awhile back that will stick in my mind forever. It was about those yuppie corporate conventions ...

Turn I do... to The Current from MPR or to CKUA from Alberta! Alberta is the North Dakota of Canada, yet it has a thriving and diverse musical scene province-wide. Remarkable!

Albertans also enunciate better than Ira Glass.
