TEA movement really about the right to consume

A few too many coincidences have been appearing in the rhetoric coming out of the demi-political phantasm now self-identifying as the TEA Party. It becomes readily apparent that the consumption of resources without the bounds of government (US, right?) is a divinely-endowed entitlement that should be unrestricted and guided only by one's own personal responsibility, caveat emptor.

As oil coats the Gulf of Mexico with the results of human greed it seems increasingly important to note that if government was really the problem, corporate independence would likely have ended life on Earth by now. The Ugliest Americans are those that insist that, "Time is Money" and that the ends justify the means. These people aren't patriots, they're gluttons using language that enables their insatiable desire to have more, consume more, and weigh more than the other poor slobs. Or, in other words, these people are just crackers for their TEA.

Looking for WMD in the Vatican

If nearly two thousand years of deception, murder, rape, and the wanton plunder of billions of souls doesn't warrant a UN resolution leading to the invasion of Vatican City, maybe violation of international law will.

Where are the CIA and NSA on this deal? Crimes are being committed against children in Confessionals, for Christ's sake. Cheney, take these monsters down! Xe, where are those bullets with John 3:16 etched on them?

Historic Preservation and Art

Nancy calls her MJ, we call her Willy. Neighbor, gardener, traveler, founder, firefighter, jazzivore. Helena native, MJ Williams, has a new album. If her 'bone doesn't melt you, her voice will.

Basin, Montana is a basin, indeed; pretty much smack dab in the
middle of the Boulder Batholith, the richest hydrothermal ore-body on Planet Earth, now it's a smouldering hotbed of art. The Montana Artists Refuge, built by a community of intellect and talent so expansive that its sheer gravity compelled it to well here, Nancy and Willy are two of its Founding Mothers.

Elegance is available for trekkers seeking respite just thirteen miles from the Continental Divide Trail; the Stone House is Willy and Nancy's way of bringing Jefferson County's mill history to visitors while Basin Creek laughs its way to the Boulder River just yards farther downstream.

Our house is the green one with the Hobie in the yard, just knock.

Will dose of oxygen give Rapid City doc second wind?

It's agonizing giving a crap about politics in South Dakota. Ask anyone who has gone door to door for a candidate or an issue. It's either energizing or miserably humbling.

So, who will fund the stones in the sling Kevin Weiland would deploy running as an Independent or a Green Party firebrand against C-street GOP pretty boy, John Thune?

FIRE!

Last fall, while having a beer and talking local politics at Jim's Tap in Brookings, the young woman accompanying my nephew blurted out to us that she had been groped when she was a teenager by her chiropractor.

"Here in Brookings?" I asked. She nodded her head, then tears filled her eyes. "Who was it? Have you ever told anyone?" my nephew asked. She shook her head.

So, this nephew's dad is the IT guy for a certain socialist college town languishing sleepily on an eastern prairie so I asked him, if there was email evidence in a city's servers of crimes committed, could it be accessed? He assured me that it is not that hard when you know where to look.

The word "unelectable" is unavoidable.
